Top 5 Diwali Sweets to celebrate Festival-of-Lights

Full of light, sweets, hope, and victory of good over the evil, Diwali is one of the THE grand festival of India, celebrated all over India with much enthusiasm and joy!

Many people in India believe Diwali as start of new year. From re-decorating homes to buying new clothes, everyone celebrates this festival as per their believes and customs.

During Diwali days, Indian sweets are most in demand. You can say, sweets-sellers have a grand season every diwali. No matter, if rich or poor, on diwali day, everyone will bring some sweets home.

No matter, what sweets one bring from market, there are a few sweets, which are prepared fresh, using easy to find, at-home ingredients for Idol Worship (pooja).

Today, I am sharing few of my favorite made-at-home diwali sweets. I have not shared a lots of sweets on this blog, since I and Vishal don't eat much sweets. But, back home, diwali is all about homemade sweets, fire-works, and lots of fun. Remembering childhood and sharing some sweetness on this auspicious occasion.
