Savory Bake Sale Ideas

Savory Bake Sale Ideas

In my community, there is no particular season for bake sale. Every month, we are baking something to support a local organization or helping to contribute towards a noble cause.

Rather than an active event organizer (I leave that to my best friends in bake sale team), I am always a cooking and baking in-charge.

Recently, I made savory Zucchini and Corn muffins for a bake sale, had no time to click pictures for blog, but were big hit and great part - sold out!. I will bake'em again to share recipe with you all sometimes soon.

But, today I felt to share with you few of my favorite savory-sweet bake sale recipes, a liitle different from regulars! Often, I find everyone baking sweet treats for bake sales. I, however, just try to bring some savory and salty treats to the table. Like my Potatoes Stuffed Turnovers are famous among my bake sale team. Mostly, these disappear in first 30 minutes of bake sale ;)

Jack-o-Lantern Halloween Pockets and Hazelnut Turnovers are hit among kids even when Halloween is no where close.

Savory Chickpea Muffins, Zucchini and Spinach Muffins, and Pin Wheels are yet another way to break the sweet-sweet tone of bake sale with something sweet-salty-savory-yummy-fun!!!

Trust my savory instincts and make one of these yummy treats for your next bake sale and enjoy being different :) Happy Baking and many thanks for making your community proud with all your efforts and awesome bale sales.
